Hello 6th Grade Students and
Parents!
I am very excited to get to know each and everyone of you, and help you
grow and prepare for life at the Junior High! My goal as your child’s teacher to provide him/her with a positive and encouraging learning environment. Students will stretch their thinking and synthesize what they are learning in new ways. I look forward to challenging your child and working with you to provide our students with the resources he or she needs to be successful.
(At camp out with Ms. Bielis - we LOVE the outdoors!)
A Little About
Me!
I was born and raised
in a small town in Southern Illinois called Murphysboro (about 30 minutes from
Kentucky). My family owns a fish farm where we raise many different kinds of
fish for stocking ponds. If any of you have gone fishing in park district ponds
in Moline, East Moline or Rock Island most likely you have caught fish from our
farm! I graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale (SIU-C) in
2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's degree in Reading and Language Studies and a Master's in Technology Integration. I strive to continue my education in order to best meet the need of your students.
